Here is my Chocolate cake donut girl. She kind of a mix of different ideas… vector line work. Toony yet shaded colors. I’m digging it. I still indecisive as to which style i prefer to work in. I guess thats kind of the point of the donut girls is to narrow down what is precisely the “spicy donut” way of doing things. I have so many options but im trying to narrow down to one and work it out to perfection. Let me know which style you prefer?

Here’s the cherry-filled donut girl, another fo Sabrina’s suggestions. I like this one a lot…it feels more inline with the style I’m leaning towards.

Finally got another donut girl done… one more closer to the dozen I ‘ve planned. Works been killing me lately but luckily i have insomnia. So here’s “French cruller” shes a bit of a stereotype but its all in good fun. playing with brush techniques… this one is a little looser and more painterly than the last couple… but stylistically more cartoonish.

Second toy design of the series… Had it sitting on my machine for a while but wanted to do a couple final touches to it. Got sick and blah blah blah. Anyway I think he’s a good twin to rock-a-betty. He’s pretty inspired by the guitar wolf movie wild zero… but still a donut original. I think ill shop around a series once I have a good number of designs finished.

I had a couple days where i just toy design crazy and came up with about a dozen designs fro cool spicy donut stylized characters. This is the first one i came up with I went ahead and flesh her out in 3ds max so if ever did get the opportunity to create here It would be real easy to see how its supposed to look. It took me a while to texture as im not a big uv unwrapper but i think it came out nice.

I did lip sync, additonal drawing and clean up, and animation on a good part of these dexter videos. A lot of time spent working with showtime and these great artists making this come together.
