Got my next Maqet designs in the mail today! These are my demon kitty figures and they are ready to kick you ass. I feel like these came out clearer than the neon neko figure. The only issue is the standing one needs a base ( the one in the pics is kind of makeshift for the pics.) Shapeways Rockabetty
Here it is my first fully 3d printed figure. Shes about 4 inches tall, powdery white and ready for paint. I’m so excited to see this figure in reality. You may recognize it from my previous 3d concept design for the character. I’ll update when i get her painted.

FrankenMug 2.0
So after losing franken mug to the dreaded mold making experience. I went ahead and made Franken Tiki 2.0.
Franken mug one was destroyed because I tried to make a 2 part mold using rigid materials when apparently im supposed to make a soft mold first then a hard mold. Still learning. hope this round goes better.
sorry for the crap pics I don’t have the best camera right now. But he’s already for the mold making process. Which i will document with pics as best I can.
Franken Skull Tiki Mug
Pics from my latest Tiki Mug featuring a rather skinless Frankenstein’s monster. I just fired the sculpey so next I’m going to be making the silicon mold. Then im going to try and make some ceramic mugs to sell at the store. I will document the trials and tribulations of this process as best I can if anybody wants to follow along. I will also be painting this one after I make the mold and update this with new photos once that is done.

First attempt at sculpting something, first use of resin, first time cutting, drilling, cooking, a vinyl figure. I dont think the pics really do it justice but im proud of it. Ace Toy Concept
Second toy design of the series… Had it sitting on my machine for a while but wanted to do a couple final touches to it. Got sick and blah blah blah. Anyway I think he’s a good twin to rock-a-betty. He’s pretty inspired by the guitar wolf movie wild zero… but still a donut original. I think ill shop around a series once I have a good number of designs finished.
Rock-a-Betty Toy Concept
I had a couple days where i just toy design crazy and came up with about a dozen designs fro cool spicy donut stylized characters. This is the first one i came up with I went ahead and flesh her out in 3ds max so if ever did get the opportunity to create here It would be real easy to see how its supposed to look. It took me a while to texture as im not a big uv unwrapper but i think it came out nice.
First Custom Dunny – Hellcop Lives!
Well here it is… my first painted dunny. It was definitely a learning process. I’ve never really painted anything at 3 inches tall and certainly never a toy.
I went through a bunch of issues. I read up a lot on the forums about customizing but still it was a learning process. To start off the head broke off the first dunny i tried. I tried decals that you rub on. They don’t appear well on black. I tried sticker printer paper… the black ‘ come out dark enough and the paper would wrinkle all over the place no matter how much i tried to finesse it and it didn’t really stick well anyway. Then one of my brushes fell apart mid paint. Every brush i tried seemed too thick until the last one i tried which didn’t look like it would be thin at all. Apparently you want thick base thin tip when doing tiny tiny details… not tiny little brush all together. After that I used some sharpie paint to help with the detail. looked great until i tried a spray varnish which made it bleed all over the rest of the paint job. But finally after all that I got him done.
I’m pretty pleased although i wish the paint job was smoother and more production like. Also I suck at taking photos… and the lighting in this room sucks but its the only place i ve got right now. Ces’t la vie… I still love the little bugger and am excited to have him in my little collection.
Dante’s Inferno Dunny
Ok Last dunny for a little bit… have some traveling to do and bills to pay unfortunately. This one was inspired by my little hell cat, Dante. I know corny and lame… but hes been staring at me alot while im working. I imagined him as an idol with a stomach of delicious kitty treats/ sacrifices. Had a lot of fun with it and really excited to try and get these made into the real deal. Once again, 3ds max and flash were used to create this fully digital dunny… still working out how to bring them to life as real dunnys!
Bride of Dunnystein
I haven’t really had a lot to do on the weekends while I’ve been in Jersey so artsy stuff is getting done at record pace for me. Not a complaint lol. Anyway this is my bride dunny concept. Another one of my obsessions is the bride of frankenstein… i love me some crazy goth girls haha. Again this is all done in 3ds max and illustrator.. I’ve been researching decaling dunnys and have a strategy… We’ll see how it turns out.
Hell Cop Dunny
Here’s a new dunny concept I came up with this morning. He’s somewhat based on the really cheesy early 90′s horror movie highway to hell It’s one of those movies you watch out of nostalgiac or comedic value. In the film there’s a character named hell cop who was the inspiration behind the piece. hehe its hilarious. Thanks to toykult for providing a dunny model i could customize.
Skull Bunnah Vinyl Concept
First concept for an original vinyl figure. I’ve been delving into a completely new style lately and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve got a bunch of ideas for vinyl and paintings right now. It feels good to be inspired again. The skull bunny was just a quick doodle which evolved into the illustration. Thenn I figured he’d make a good simple figure. So I modeled him up in 3ds max and may look around and see if I can get him turned into the real deal.

Lil’ Diabla Custom Munny
Yay! My first custom munny. It took me a long time to narrow down what i wanted to do and i couldn’t decide until one day I just went with my gut and she came out. I’m really happy with how she looks. My GF sandy helped me out by sculpting the little earrings and finding the perfect belt for her. I used acrylics and paint pens to get the job done. Anywho i think she turned out great. Let me know what you think.
