I think it turned out pretty good… Im really proud of the subtle cheetah print skull background. Someday im gonna use that idea for the interior of a jacket or something. That would be so pimp!
Missile Silent
Splodey time! I suppose this piece was inspired buy all those old Robotech cartoons… Gotta love the Japanese. Ridiculously huge amounts of missiles in every scene. Almost as if to say, Fuck you cheap underpaid overworked animators…add more missiles
Creepy Crawly Curiosity
I find myself strangely obsessed with devil girls. Other than curves in general, They are my favorite thing to draw. Usually if i sit down in front of a sheet of paper there’s gonna be a hot girl with horns. I don’t think its any kind of statement about my feeling towards women or anything so deep. So My Roommate was doing comics for the university paper. They weren’t crap like everything else in the paper. So with our powers combined… we formed Last Place Comics.
I designed the site and I fill in from time to time drawing some of the comics . Often the comics are a tangent of our ridiculous conversation. Most recently one involving rat anus… Highbrow humor set for the New Yorker!
Also it’s surprisingly a technical site… its programmed in flash and required alot of work to get each comic to read as a separate page by the browser. But i managed to pull it off I think.
